im probably one of the few here old enough to remember seeing this in the movie theaters the weekend it came out, around Thanksgiving 1985.

I was a junior in high school.  My friend had a date and just like seems to happen on every sitcom, her fat cousin (fun loving with a great personality  ::) )was in town and my friend's date would only go if he could find a date for her cousin.  At least I got to see Rocky IV for free (I made my friend pay my way in for lumbering me with the fattie, who - and I'm not proud of this - I still boinked    :-[  ).

when i watched this movie for the first time in mid 80s i felt very sad when creed died.. of course i was expecting him to lose and was expecting sly to take his revenge but i didnt expect him to die so it was like a shock lol..

rocky movies and especially the training scenes were very important to me when i was a kid.. i had all of them on video tapes and was watching the training scenes only before doing some push ups and abs exercises at home.. and of course i was swallowing some raw eggs after that ;D
