It all depends on how much of an abuser you've been. Guys like Thomas Scheu or Hamdullah are pushing 50 and look their best ever.

Yep.

Roland is only a year older than me and looks older than my father.

I'd be all over Scheu.   :P
But I'd do Roland too.  :-*

makes me cringe the part of the arms which has No muscles. Just bones. why is that? usually looks like that after a tear, but I guess just age can be a factor also. since I guess he didnt tear both his triceps at the exact same place..

brock had some big traps

Here's a good thread on building good traps top to bottom.

I've followed a lot of advices in that thread and I'm already seeing results.

A lot of great sets of traps in this thread.

When I met Johnny Jackson in person and saw him in normal clothes, I must say that his traps were pretty unreal to me.  They loooked like they went up to his ears and the guy had a tee shirt on and was just standing by the bar at this club, not flexing at all.

Also, OP, what is pleasing about the physique you posted?  As much as I support the masters divisions, etc... these 50+ year old guys on lots of gear do not look good.

When I see bodybuilders on stage, it generally looks impressive, and that's what often inspires guys to want to compete.  Seeing these older guys where the drugs have obviously taken their toll does not look good and is not very encouraging for guys to want to compete and use  :-\... just IMO.

when i look at the older guys competing in masters i see aging effects more than drugs tasking a toll, and still feel mthey look great for their age, cant really compare them to their previous best or the younger guys of today.loose skin and torn muscles are due to aging and years of training.
