Amir Khan loses again Lamont Peterson by points

i was hoping he's get knocked-the-fuck-out. oh, well.. a points victory will do nicely enough.

glad i stayed up now. our lass will be getting an extra hard fucking later on in celebration  8)

cracking fight though from both fighters.

Amir Khan has raised fresh doubts over the validity of his clash with Lamont Peterson last month, where the Briton controversially lost his IBF and WBA light-welterweight title belts in Washington. Khan lost a dramatic battle with Peterson on points, after he was deducted two points for pushing. Many pundits and fans questioned the judging after the fight, and Khan lodged an appeal, which will be held later this month. The 26-year-old has now taken to Twitter to send out a number of images of the fight. He is particularly concerned with the appearance of one man ringside.

He ran a lot but I still think he should of got the decision. You come to expect this from boxing though.

To be honest he probably pushed a lot more than he ran in order to create distance. But even with the 2 points deducted he still should have been ahead in the score cards. You always hear in boxing that in order to get a decision over a champ you have to win decisively. Peterson fought well but not good enough that they should have given him the belt. But it was his hometown and it is boxing after all.

Khan is not a champion. Last time he had a fight with a hard hitter he got knocked out, the same will happen again. His fights are picked carefully. Technically he is a good fighter and is quick but has no power and can not take a good dig. Put him in the ring with any half decent hard hitter and he is down.

He is yet another manufactured "champ"

I can't wait for the day he can't avoid (not a picked fight) a fight with big hitters and you will see what I am saying

Khan when he was moving was hitting Peterson and winning rounds!
Peterson fight like a bum compared to Khan!
I am not a Khan fan but the decision was a joke!

your a moron,,, he fought midana when everyone else ducked him, he took this fight with out being forced either

he did deserve to be beaten last night tho, he should have stood his ground more instead of going on the run, the point deductions were a bit harsh  imo...

he will win the re match tho
