Same here,I doubt if Samir had been training too consistantly before he decided to enter this contest.

Either that or he was just working out to retain some semblance of his physique before he got into the contest prep.

yeh,, he was a great......... but my point is still valid, guys who were never anything but plumbers, scaffholders, welders etc look better than him right now, he should have pulled out...

the whole point of these masters shows would be to have the likes of shawn ray, gary strydom, labrada, dillet, levrone, haney, coleman, yates etc all showing up in shape

as we all know this never happens,,, its either totaly past it old men,,, or 3rd/2nd rate current pro's who wipe the floor with everyone

Gaspari was one who was to enter and pulled out too .... At the end it was better to have Dexter Not really a legend but (former Mr.O)winning it, than having Divisions with not ( Legends) contestans entering the show.

I think the whole idea in this masters legend was just for the old timers to be all mixing it up for a bit of fun! Adding present competitors just took the fun straight out of it and stopped all the real legends competing or wanting to compete. Shame really good idea just the organisiors got it all wrong plain & simple!

There's really no other activity where a legends competition could be a worse idea than bodybuilding. Maybe boxing? This should have been a meet and greet luncheon or seminar without anyone over 50 in a posing thong.

Citrone looks amazing and he is older. Samir always mistimed his peak, he is not 35 anymore and pro not the walking pharmacy he used to be. But with all that, at least he could have got his color right...

Yeah, he looks like shit. Off season style. 8-10 weeks to go condition, don't buy the flat bullshit because he isn't going to push that fat anywhere productive. Should have at least came in conditioned.

A few days out he looked very good, especially the legs, but for his age, considering retired for so long, looks great.

IFBB Amateurs World Masters 2011 was overall better quality contest than 2011 IFBB Pro Masters, oh how embarrassing.
