I heard on the radio the FBI has been watching him for a while, and he is the biggest drug dealer on chicago and playing on the NFL....20 - 40 Kilos per month, and 4,000 lbs of pot per month is some serious weight.

How much is his contract? Because, it would be STUPID to go into the "street pharmacy" ventures when you are a "baller" already. If anything, he try to front some "medical marijuana" clinics in the area, or invest in them...and pushing for looser legislation.

hes doing it for the image, plain and simple and its going to cost him big time, he was a marginal player at best and now because he wanted to be Tony Montana he'll be sleeping in a 6x8 cell for a few years and his career is over.

if hes flipping it and making $500 a pound- if its kush triple a grade this is entirely possible- hes making 2mil a mth on pot alone.

I think the deal went down in Texas. A pound of coke and the intent to get 100's of pounds of weed in Texas is a lot more than a few years. They'll be giving out free jet packs when that dude gets out of the joint.

'Lean On Me' Actor Arrested for Buying 200 POUNDS of Weed

The guy who starred as troubled youth Thomas Sams in the 1989 classic "Lean On Me" was arrested in Arizona for allegedly buying 200 pounds of pot from an undercover cop this week.

Jermaine "Huggy" Hopkins has been charged with two felony counts of possessing, transporting and trying to sell marijuana.

According to police, the 38-year-old actor lives in North Carolina ... but traveled to AZ to make the drug deal on Tuesday.

Cops in Maricopa County say they set up the sting operation ... and after Hopkins took possession of the dope, they pulled over his SUV and arrested him. Cops say they found $100k in cash in the ride.

Officials later searched Hopkins' Arizona apartment and claim they found an additional 100 pounds of weed.

Police say Hopkins told them he got involved in the drug deal to provide a nice Christmas for his family.

Hopkins is being held on $35,000 bond. If convicted, he faces up to 5 years in prison.
