Spread across the planet? The EU has quite the head start on the US when it comes to police states.

What EU countries torture? What EU countries has capital punishment? What EU countries has secret arrests, prisons, torture, assassinations, now also applying to their own citizens? Or which EU countries uses the same cencorship metod as Syria, Iran and China?

I'm curious, is there a country in the EU who does all these things? I'm not even living in the EU, just worried about the world in general. Norway will probably be pretty chill for a long time.

Are you talking about the same EU that just went to war in Libya because they couldn't afford to pay for the oil anymore? Hahaha, yeah man, they're truly on another level when it comes to hypocrisy.

In the bigger picture, who gives a flying fuck about 9/11?

Worrying about whether another 9/11 will ever happen again is the least of your worries right now. Wake the fuck up.

LOL at the liberals and obamabots!  It was obama himself who demanded this language in the bill.

obama = bush third term plus a hhealthy dose of communism on economics.

do you know why the defense authorization act included the section about killing american citizens without trial?

There had been an intense debate among lawyers in the months before the Obama administration decided to put Mr. Awlaki on a target list in early 2010, and officials said that Mr. Khan was never on the list. The decision to make Mr. Awlaki a priority to be sought and killed was controversial, given his American citizenship. The American Civil Liberties Union, which fought unsuccessfully in the American court system to challenge the decision to target Mr. Awlaki, condemned the killing.
