He always looked like he just woke up and had a bad hangover. The guy was a known drunk and never looked particularly healthy.

Hitchens died from pneumonia, a complication of the oesophageal cancer he had, at a Texas hospital.

That's unfortunate. He was a brilliant man that experienced a lot physically before the end of his life. He lived his life with a bit of reckless abandon, but he did all he could to live his life to the fullest in his own way.

He lost massive credibility as one of the very few intellectuals to support the Iraq War and Bush

I always thought there was a part of him that was just trolling for attention...

One cannot lose that which one has never sought to hold and that being the admiration of liberal fucktards like the Clintons or muslime pederasts like...Well like any worthless follower of islime. I enjoyed much of his later work and some of the earlier stock as well. Sorry to hear of his passing.

well i imagine theres a whole bunch of people in heaven that when on earth were adamant believers who yelled in the face of agnostics and atheists alike about their disbelief as if it were ludacris and blasphemous who are now forced to reconcile with hitchens and others and grant them that their doubts were fully acceptable given the crcumstances and that there judgements of their fellow man were ungodly, though well intentioned, to say the least.
