His faith doesn't get under my skin at all. He can believe whatever he wants to. I just wanted to make it clear that his post speech didn't PWN anyone. There was nothing inherent in his speech that pwned atheists. That is the only point I wanted to make. Now that we established that, he can go on believing whatever it is he likes. I myself believe in some sort of higher power. But when someone wants to tell me or anyone that things are a certain way, I will always be on the side of "this guy MAY be full of shit"... Tebow is an incredible leader.  He's a winner at many levels, and a huge overachiever to get where he is.  He's a very good runner and would be an awesome tight end that could mix thigns up.

But he's a poor passer.  Period.

And yes, coach, ESPN interviewed a lot of tebow fans last week - i think it was the scott van pelt show - they talked at great length about how tebow is very good, tebow has a bright future.  Buuuut.... Tebow does have a bit of an ego.  Nothing wrong with it - you better have one to be a winning QB, yu need that confidence. 

But yeah, tebow has an ego, according to the people who cover him all day and really like him.

It is strange because if he wasn't allowed to hide behind his religion, he would come off as kinda dumb. He's listed as having a 3.66 in college. But some have questioned that. Strange that there isn't a line of high school and college friends of his telling the sports media how brilliant he really is. Because lets be honest, he doesn't really pass the smell test of someone who is super smart. No matter how many times Jon "pitches a pants tent every time Tebow's name is mentioned" Gruden tells us he is smart.

he has great football instincts.  He just isn't accurate and can't get rid of the  ball fast enough.  theyre catching it at line of scrimmage and people are picking it off when he throws it near the receiver.  In college he was just as abd, but his receiver was NFL caliber and the defenders were not.  When he did play a real defense (LSU)?  He lost.   


We all max out at some point.  ONce that happens, we settle in to a groove where we can maintain success longterm.  Tebow will be a 3rd string guy tat sells jerseys, or a back to use now and then to make fans happy and sell tickets.  A lot of fans would rather buy a ticket to see tebow run 4 trick plays than see 500 passing yards from Brees.

Maybe. But the college testing is more bogus then the pros. Just way too much money in college to not protect the athletes. The fact that there isn't a multiple amount of college athletes being busted for PED's each week is a serious TELL to the system at large. At least the pros have the millions of dollars to pay for top notch "state of the art" masking agents to protect themselves. Human nature should tell us that college athletes should be dropping like fly's. But that just isn't happening.

I have at least 20+ college athletes and they're pulled out of class at least once per week for testing. Most colleges use the same testing as pros.

20 athletes out of thousands in the college ranks.  I belong to a gym where only 3 are div/ 2 or above and all of them have used something along the way. Yet never tested positive.

So, are you saying that it is only the bad players that get flunked or suspended when they test positive? I went to school with Mario Manningham and that dude was always suspended for being a pot head.  Now, i never knew of any players that were juicing, but players are popped for Marijuana all the damn time. Dumb asses. I guess it depends on the coach, but i did train with some guys who played at South Carolina and those dudes were into all kinds of shit.  I guess that was Spurrier for ya.

overrated?  huh?  I seem to remember most saying he didn't have a chance in hell in the NFL.  Aside from a strong fan base from his college play almost everyone else underated him.  Considering what all these guys said he wouldn't be able to do, I think he's done awesome so far.
