When was the last time you went to the Doctor? (haven`t been since I was 9)

Wouldn't stay away from the dentist too long my friend, I just went today for the first time since 2003-04 thinking that my own personal dentistry efforts were working. Boy was I wrong, now im looking at a fuck load of $$ and work. The only reason I avoided it was out of fear. Also watched some 80's movie called 'the dentist' before I went, bad move.. Very dumb..

People have health issues all the without even realizing it until they get checked. Then its too late.

only good post I have seen you make all week !  Adonis has no clue if he is healthy or not, really he needs to get a checkup, blood work, and see if he is actually healthy, because things that you let go will manifest in the long run with bad results you will not like Adonis.

lol no I had excruciating pain prior, which is why I went.

Interesting though, dentists can easily do unnecessary work without the patient knowing it $$. Im sure it happens all the time.

Haven`t needed to since I got my braces taken off as a kid.  A friend who was a dentist looked at my teeth and saw nothing.  Dentists are a huge racket and they really are abused filling cavities that don`t even exist.

When I was a kid I had all of my teeth sealed with a plastic like sealent so I can never get cavities in the future.  I also was born without wisdom teeth at all, so those never had to be removed.

You are in for a world of hurt when you finally do start to get the first toothache, then go to the dentist and realize you have a mouth full of cavities just that they all started hurting around the same time.  You can have a cavity and have it not hurt for a long time, you will screw yourself over by doing this.  By the way, the x rays they do now for your mouth they show you on computer screen right after, they aren't taking you for anything, you can see your cavities for yourself.

Did you get x rays done and did they show you the results right after?  The usually have a monitor for you to see what your teeth look like right after you get your x rays.

People don`t realize that its a business and a really easy one at that to fool people into small procedures and check-ups and follow ups.

The doctor wants that big fat insurance check regularly and will keep the well primed for as long as he can to draw as much as he can out of it.

If any of you has had any friends or family that are Dentists or General Practitioners you`d know how it all works.

I did get x rays done, but I never actually saw them. I was only briefed on the situation , when I heard them talking in the office the word 'extract' was thrown around quit a bit whatever that means.. All I can really do is trust them with every tooth in my head and hope they are saints deep down lol

Full blood panel, BP, heart-rate... and whatever ails you (whatever you ask for)

Having your wisdom teeth pulled is probably the number 1 scam at the dentist's office.  If you are not in pain, you don't need them out.  It's like your appendix, some people need it removed, some don't.

they should show you x rays right away on computer screen in front of you in chair or bring them to you physically, I don't know why they wouldn't, then they can show you were you have cavities and what they look like compared to healthy teeth, you are basically going on trust.

lol funny you mentioned that.. The dentist I went to this afternoon was explaining to me that my wisdom teeth need to be removed, not asap but eventually. And they were giving me the 'you are going to have to sooner or later better to get it over with' thing when they arent in any pain whatsoever. They kept alluding to the wisdom teeth instead of focusing on what I really needed done of course.
