What the hell are you going to do with forearms or fingertips if there is a real need to prevent the weight from crashing down. No you are not going to hold the weight back or up but that's not what you are there for.....learn how to spot or stay clear before you hurt or kill somebody.

hard to believe that he is 46. was born in 65 according to wikipedia. same year as Levrone and gh....i mean Nasser. always got the impression that he was younger then those guys.

I'm a big fan of DJ. Guy is STRONG. I was watching his "Back to the Basics" DVD the other day... 5 plate incline bench for reps, 5 plate front squat for reps. The guy was strong and had a dense physique to go with it.

i can always tell when the weight is too much but they always say they can handle it

i let them make a cu nt of themselves then upright row it off them
