Laurence ODonnell trashing him for it on MSNBC today.   Seriously.  Stooping that low.

The only question is, will the right-wing media stoop to that level tomorrow as well?

The funny thing is that if Ron Paul is racist and homophobic it doesn't matter at all - he is the only candidate who believes that the government should treat people as individuals, not as groups or collectives.

First if all it's all hearsay and second it was the eighties and no one understood the scope of AIDS. People were shitting thier pants in fear over it and it was strictly considered a gay disease but let me guess the righteous Lawerence was licking the toilet seats clean at gay bars, so that obviously means Ron hates fags.

Its alleged he was there to meet up with supporters who happened to be gay or some shit like that. Again, all this news goes back to the same ex Paul aid named Eric who released a statement a few days ago.

I just checked it out.  They're making a big deal about this... LOL, this will only help him gain a few more republican votes that he didn't have and the moderate left supporting him won't give a shit.

Paul probably didn't want another scene like the one Bruno played out with him.  If gays want to place some blame here, they should be attacking the stunt Bruno pulled.  Gays should actually support Paul.  His policies and beliefs provide them much more liberty than the typical republican would ever want allowed.
