CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Michael Jordan is engaged to longtime girlfriend Yvette Prieto, a Cuban-American model he's been dating for three years.

Publicist Estee Portnoy confirmed the news, first reported by WCNC in Charlotte, on Thursday.

The Bobcats owner got engaged over the Christmas weekend. No wedding date has been set.

This will be Jordan's second marriage. He married Juanita Vanoy in September 1989, and they divorced in 2006. They have two sons, Jeffrey Michael and Marcus James, and a daughter, Jasmine.

His ego got the best of him...once he tires of her, he could go to South Beach or Sao Paulo and pick up some quality trim.

he was already doing that when he was married to juanita, and i'm sure he got side now.  it aint always bad to have a steady room-mate when you get home.  she's not americana, views to whole marriage thing from a Caribbean perspective.  for all the shit about vanessa bryant, she ain't that bad a wife and mom.  kobe is the fuck up but his money covers all of his ills from eye sight.
