 And yeah, boxers have lost in K-1 fighting with K-1 rules. Have you seen the glove size in K-1? Almost as big boxing gloves. In MMA, the gloves are much smaller and you can knock out someone with one well placed punch.

I'm aware of the glove sizes.  If either one of them connects they would knock each other out.  Overeem has more tools seeing as he can both kick and punch, whereas JDS, and i love JDS, has not shown much other than his striking skills.

Overeem doesn't use kicks effectively. His 'kickboxing' style is like a boxer that holds a lot and learned how to throw knees effectively. Sure he throws kicks occasionally, but theyre slow compared to other k-1 guys. Hes like a kickboxing version of Brock Lesnar--a roided up guy that relies on bullying and momentum. Won't work on JDS.

Notice a couple things in this video: 1.like Semmy Schilt he has a huge size advantage over every opponent  2. He finishes people off the same way--aggressive grabbing, punching and kneeing. If he tries that on JDS hell get knocked out. Despite being the best k-1 fighter in absolute terms, stylistically he one of the worst k1 fighters you could put against JDS.
