BARRY OBAMA HAS A NEW SOUTHERN ACCENT by Mark Rhoads I just saw the link on Drudge to Obama making his "lipstick on a pig" comment in Virginia. The comment was bad enough and no one in his partisan audience mistook the fact he was aiming at Gov. Palin. But Obama's new southern accent by way of Harvard Law School is downright hilarious when you listen to it. Remember when when Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton used to start using a fake southern accent when they stumped in southern states? I agree, not quite as fake for Bill. Now Barry Obama is doing the same thing. It's a completely different accent than the one he uses in New York or Marin County wine and brie fundraisers. The word "something" morphs into "sumthin" and the word "policy" becomes something like "pawlacee." Watch out folks, the next thing you know Barack is gonna tell us nice folk that "that there dog just won't hunt." Maybe Sen. McCain should remind southerners about the danger of "staggerin to the polls n votin dry."
