a very prominent local guy who does very well as a heavyweight on the NPC national scene told a friend of mine that as long as you get some form of protein powder post workout youre fine, he said even if its the Wal-Mart brand you're fine, he said all the bullshit about different brnads is nonsense.

I agree...personally I grow better of shakes it seems like. The difference is I buy it the grocery store for 20 bucks instead of some fancy kind, I went 6 months without using protein powders ..man what a pain in the ass. 3 meals a day is all I can stomach anyways, you need the shakes. egg whites fuck my stomach

times2...There is no way there is any protein on the market that does not have protein in it. Guidelines are way too strict..it may be filled with fillers and junk quality protein, but if a product says 25 grams of whey concentrate per scoop it has just that

Somehow I highly doubt that, unless your diet without shakes was retarded. You only need so much protein in a day that's easily done by eating meats - no need for shakes, eggs, or milk. In addition, if you're worried about catabolism, just up your carb intake, since it's protein sparing.

Dr. Darden has a great little tidbit of information regarding Sergio in one of his books... he mentions how one of Sergio's favorite post-workout meals was a pizza with coca cola. And this was BEFORE gh and tren were around and popular. Goes to show you how much bullshit bodybuilders fall for.

absolitly no need for ptoeirn poweder,, and i will let you on another secret....THERE IS ABSOLITLY NO NEED FOR IMMEDIATE PROTIEN POST TRAINING...what most of us bodybuild who are on alot of hormones do...and to all the morons who say gh15 is waiting for website so only there is spill beans they can see they are wrong for i say everything on thunderdome too ....what most of us bodybuild who are on a lot of hormones do is....WE MAKE SURE WE GET IN PROTIEN BFORE TRAINING,, eggwhites or other ,, and after training we wait a good 60 min before we put in protien ,, nothing is calculated to the t ,, NOTHING,, you know your body you train it to be specific way,, protien powders are not needed,,

Might have similiar bodybuilding results in the short term with Whey and shit quality food but if you in for the long haul, huge difference with high quality nutritionally dense food.

Whenever he says protein powder is garbage. There is no reason to say this. Whey protein is the same as any other type of protein. Same results, same thing. It's cheaper and more convenient. To say you will build bigger muscles on raw egg white liquid than protein powder is pretty silly.

I'm not saying you NEED protein powder, I'm just saying there is nothing wrong with it. Although gh15 just mentioned something about an estrogenic rise that doesn't go away. Hopefully someone can elaborate

ISOLATE is somewhat good,but other whey is GARBAGE.You do not want to know it's provenience,what chemicals inside,colorants,sweeteners,lots of dirty stuff.We already got estrogens in most foods,no need to fuck your body completely.  :o
