A growing number of business leaders, including Pimco's Bill Gross are endorsing many of Ron Paul's economic platforms.  During the election coverage for the Iowa Caucus's on January 3rd, CNN analyst Erin Burnett reported that strong supporters of fiscal responsibility in the business industry are also strong supporters of Ron Paul's bid for the White House.

According to Erin Burnett on CNN last night, an astounding number of top business leaders were OK with the idea of a Ron Paul presidency. The only one she quoted by name was Bill Gross of PIMCO, and it doesn't get more Insider than that. She said that while, "of course," he rejected Ron's ideas about the Fed, Gross liked Ron's budget cuts, pro-capitalism, and foreign policy.  She was astounded, but Gross, too, wants to bring the troops home. Amazing what a financial crisis can do. BTW, no one else on CNN was interested in discussing this. – Lew Rockwell

Like the original 'compromise' that allowed our nation to become one, it is the American way to agree on many like-minded issues, while at the same time, being able to disagree on particular details or directions.  Our economic system is entrenched with the oversight of the Federal Reserve, and while many bankers and financial companies do not stand with Congressman Paul on ending the Fed, they do see that many policies administered by the central bank have been detrimental to capitalism in America.

Business in America relies upon sound money, flowing capital, and limited regulation.  All of these things have been destroyed over the past decade, leading to dangerous levels of unemployment, GDP growth, and the movement of both capital and companies offshore.  History shows that the process to reverse this trend is to reverse the very policies that helped create it, and business leaders across the country recognize Ron Paul as one of the very few who advocates this agenda.

Just as in 1992 when then Governor Bill Clinton won the Presidential election based on the premise, 'its the economy stupid', so to is the core fundamental issue of 2012 the same concept.  With the growing activism of the younger generation, and the economic sense of business leaders such as Bill Gross behind Ron Paul, the Texas Congressman has become the primary candidate in the race for the White House to bring America back to a time of economic growth, sound money, and job creation.
