In the following months I wanna get a new phone. I currently own a Samsung Galaxy S plus. It is great. The minuses? no flash camera and fairly crappy pics and vids. Also the virtual keyboard locks every once in a while.

So what do you gear-heads advise? (I was thinking to try iPhone 5)

Sony has developed smart phones with amoled screens. It's a few years down the road, but it is the future.

Some people speculate that this kind of technology will eventually make us treat the equivalence of a thin bendable Ipad like paper. Dirt cheap and disposable basically. Microchips will become ridiculously inexpensive.

im happy with iphone and "never looked back" so to speak. with other phones there's always something not quite up to par is my feeling.

the touch screen is vastly superior to the blackberry .. they were nice but now grossly outdated

4.5-5 inch screens with hd and touch vibrate features piss on bbr imo

Blackberry's are good for business use, i'd never have one for personal use.

Iphones (like the pads, books and pods) are primarily fashion accessories and there are better options to be had if you're not blinded by the brand.

dude .. pick up a galaxy II or iphone 4s .. use them a little .. you will find the blackberry extremely outdated.

I use my smartphone for facebook, pics, writing notes, games and a lot more.

Over 70% of my clients are on Blackberry, so are most of the who's/who people in the city.

I could not agree more, that is why I no longer use Imac, fucking rip off. This HP does everything that the Imac could.

Seriously Sev, not in Mumbai, the only people I have seen with other hand sets are Europeans, that are here for short stays or tourists, then you have the Indian fashion victims. They are no doubt the nuts in other places, but here it is Blackberry all the way. The amount of new BB Bold, I have seen in the last month

They are NOT selling Iphones here at all.

If you are NOT on BBM here, you do not exist.

I still think galaxy 2 and iPhone 4s are the top 2 ..

I used to hate apple. After using my macbook I would never go back to anything else. It is so much simpler and more logic as far as I am concerned.

I loathe the brand but i got it obligatory through work and it's a fucking good phone simply put.

if you can wait for iPhone 5, I would do that. My pattern has been to get a new phone every other year; I have iPhone 4

That's because all those "other" smartphones are copycat products. Just ask yourself why all of this "better" iPhone alternatives never existed before the iPhone. Ditto for all those iPad alternatives. All of them are "me too" products trying to jump on a bandwagon.

you don't need to do drugs or e-stab people. All u need is a good phone that is also a great internet games and other apps product.
