At the moment my girlfriend is injecting me. Took a shot in the delt tonight. I watched as she injected but I still have not come to the point of injecting myself. I am not scared of needles, I just can't get to the point of injecting myself...
How long did it take you to convince/encourage yourself to self-inject?
Any advice?

I used to be scared shitless of needles. After watching all of those girls on YouTube inject themselves for their gender change, I said to myself " if these pussy girls can do it then I sure as hell can too." When injection time came around I just told myself the Nike slogan.. just do it.

my first time was about 8 weeks ago lol...

i was crazy nervous..hand trembling n all that... watched a couple of youtube vids of levrone and lenyn nunez n figured shit....im really behind lol gotta catch up....

went for the quad first since it seemed like more of a controlled injection....its been smooth sailing since...

go for the quad its painless n easy to manage. just do it pussy lol

Most likely I would get responses like "Man up" or something, which I know is true, but not always easy to do... But thanks, I guess "just do it" is the way to do it, hehe.

First time was 2 years ago or so....I was sitting in the bathroom looking at the needle and my quad, took me at least 45mins before finally pinning myself lol...I was sweating like a pig, shaking so bad loool...

Now I do 3 IM injections/day and 7 suq-q injections/day lol...u'll get use to it

Try loading up a 29 gauge insulin syringe with .25 ml of bacteriostatic water and inject it into your quad. Do it again in different areas like your delts and ass. Then once you've got comfortable with that, move up the needle size to a 23 gauge 1" and inject a SMALL amount (again, like .25 or .5 ml) of Test into your quad. Rinse and repeat

Guess I am more macho than some give me credit for being. I have never had a problem sticking myself with a needle. Heck, I watch while I have a blood draw because I find it interesting. I've heard that some dudes actually faint when they see their own blood filling a vial. Maybe this is because I am a control freak, but I'd rather stick myself then have someone else do it.

Well I'm not really scared of needles. I do get a little light headed and nauseas when they draw blood from me though. I think the thing that bothers me most is the length of the needle. I keep thinking that thing has to go inside me, and I think that freaks me out the most. I don't know why. The only way to get over it is to do it I guess

Yes, and follow all safety procedures, such as making sure the injection site is really clean. I always swab off the needle with alcohol too before injecting just to be on the safe side.

Yes for sure. I always make sure everything is done cleanly. I don't want to risk infection.

One additional thing is the quality of what you are injecting. In my case, I have a prescription and get my products from a legal pharmacy which is a comfort. However, if I was relying on other sources, I might feel differently.

Yeah, I wish I could get pharma stuff. But I know my source is reliable so I'm not afraid of an unsterile product or so on.

I still remember my first shot like it was yesterday. I was sitting in my study room with the pin loaded just staring at it over and over while looking at spotinjections.com.

Took me a good hour to decide to finally sink that needle in my delt. I remember sweating quite a bit the first few injections, but i soon realized it's not a big deal and got over it.

I prefer to give myself injections, i could never trust my girlfriend with something like that unless she was a nurse or knew before how to inject someone.

It's really not that bad, every now and then you have a bad shot but for the most part i would say 90% of my injections over all the years were easy and pain free. But man, you get one bad quad shot and you will live in fear again. lol

Stop using little needles first off. Anything above 23 gauge is way too painful and slow of an inject. I personally use an 18'gauge 1.5 inch to glute only and it is painless. 25 gauge makes me quiver. Shooting 3 cc through that little needle takes 15 minutes.

Goes in smooth as butter.

Was hard getting used to that spot tho, you feel like you'll hit a bone or something.
