Hmm ... perhaps.  I think Romney has the best shot at beating Obama in a presidential election, but I suss a key to that is who he picks as running mate.

I honestly don't think the man's so stupid, but IF he picks Sarah Palin, the GOP can kiss another four years goodbye  More likely than not he'll pick Rubio.  Bachmann is good-looking as hell but Mitt must realize her "oh noes gays suck" shit is a losing proposition.  Ron Paul?  LOL.  And Newty = even more LOL.  He might be a future secretary of state, but people fucking HATE Newt no matter what he says.  Him dethroning Obama would be like Thundercracker winning the vote against Megatron for leadership of the Decepticons -- well, minus the part where Megatron scraps everybody who was stupid enough to vote against him.

I would say "pick the Godfather pizza guy," but his foreign politics ignorance forever removed him from running for president.  (Too bad, too, I might say.  That guy knew how to run a BUSINESS.  Our federal gov't. IS a business, and it takes a combination of statesman, diplomat AND businessman to make everything flow as it should.)

I guess all will come null and void sometime in ogga-bogga 2012, though, eh?  LOL.
