  It is amazing what a savage he was in his prime. A beast. His speed, power and versatility are on a level never matched by any fighter in any weight class. The stuff he did in his fights were RI-DI-CU-LOUS. The way he transitions his striking to takedowns and how he crafts his submissions on the ground are mind blowing. We have not seen anything like it before or since.

  Another thing is what a fantastic wrestler Fedor was. His takedowns are insane. Because the speed and power of his punching and his submissions were so incredible, péople forget what a World-class wrestler Fedor was. His wrestling is better than that of guys like Brock and as good or better than guys like Sonnen who's bread-and-butter is wrestling. He could have represented Russia at the Olympics in pure Greco-Roman wrestling. It was that good.

A tribute should include the Mans Losses - I admired the way fedor accepted his losses, my esteem for fedor increased after his losses and not the other way round - and the dude still came back and fought hard guys, and still fought to win - def include his losses, there is no shame in Fedors career - man is warrior - true warrior & not propoganda UFC one.
