An amazing admission tonight from Ron Paul.


an exclusive interview, I asked him: “When you lay your head on your pillow at night, do you see yourself in the Oval Office?”

“Not really,” he said.

He went on to say that he’s not blind to the odds, but they are “not as slim as they were 25 years ago.”
Hard to imagine any other candidate saying that.

I also asked if he though he was too old to be president. He’d be 81 at the end of his first term.
He said, “Freedom is a youthful idea,” his health is good, and he challenges any of his rivals to a physical fitness test.

He also jokingly accused me of ageism.
“Be careful,” he said. “There are laws against that.”

if I've lived 76 years of amazing life, and the only thing I think about at night is a stupid govt job, i'm a sad sack.  I hope he's dremaing of his family, his loves, the future of his nation, and the things he has accomplished - not "wow, if i can only get a 4-year job..."

I think RPaul has that in his blood.  He's just not obsessed about it like mitt, whose sole goal isn't fixing amerca, it's being president.

Its not about being calm, controlled, intelligent and rational anymore, its about who can whip more people into a frenzy and divide people into a win/lose scenario like he's saying.

Its rediculous, the country has lost its fucking mind, the politicians have created a system where instead of bringing people together to vote for the best man for the nation, they play divide and conquer to vie for political position. Sad, Im starting to believe weve started the downfall like so many other nations. Greece, Rome, here we come.....
