I grew up with the Williams family, mostly Kenny Jr., and I feel horrible for them right now.

Call it weather (not likely), maybe the stage was too big & too much pressure or whatever.

He coughed it up the first time, the Niners came back to tie the game up at 17. He coughed it up again in about as horrible field position as he could and there was no way no matter how stout our defense is or finally shutting down Cruz in the second half...the Niners couldn't pull it out.

Two extremely costly mistakes and the Niners lost. End of season, that's a wrap. It wasn't the blowout that others claimed it was going to be. Instead, one hell of a battle in a game where only one team can win. This time it wasn't the Niners. Good luck to the Giants in the Super Bowl.

I honestly don't recall many people saying this game would be a blowout at all.

I think it went down mostly how people would have expected.

Agreed.  I am glad my Pats won.  Those were both excellent championship games.  Exactly what makes football so popular.
