THE GAME OF BODYBUILDING HAS JOINED THE THUG LIFE INCORP. IN MIAMI I AM ASHAMED BY THE BEHAVIOR OF THE OFFICIALS AND THE DISHONESTY OF THE PROMOTER CONCERNING MY FEE. I WAS GIVEN A WORTHLESS CHECK THE PROMOTER DISREGARDS. THIS IS AFTER THEY DUMP TONY PEARSON WHO HAD BEEN SIGNED TO DO THE EVENT, AND SIGNED ME TO A CONTRACT BEHIND HIS BACK. THAT GOES TO SHOW ALL YOU BODYBUILDERS THAT YOU ARE JUST ...A NUMBER. LEGEND IS THE TITLE THEY GIVE YOU FOR BEING AROUND FOR A WHILE. THEN THEY SELECT YOU INTO THEIR BODYBUILDER HALL OF FAME. FOR WHAT? HONOR YOU FOR TAKING STEROIDS UNTIL YOU CAN NO LONGER FUNCTION. DO THE IFBB HAVE A HEALTH CARE PLAN FOR ALL OF THOSE SELECTED TO THE HALL OF FAME. WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO 8 TIME MR O R. COLEMAN,? WHO WILL HELP HIM THROUGH HIS RECOVERY? THE HALL OF FAME? I DON'T THINK SO. RR

Wait.... lets get the facts straight Robby. The IFBB was responsible for the checks that were made for the PRIZE MONEY. $220,000 of it. I am very sure that all prize money check was paid, and all is good there.

The check that you got is from the promoter for a guest posing fee. Your beef is with the promoter of the event, not the IFBB. Get the story correct.

That said, it is not cool for the promoter to bounce the checks or not pay the guest posers that they contracted with.

I heard this yrs back on Shawn Ray's board. It's not like bbing pays, so dude had to hustle up one way or another. Better to steal your stuff than get banged in the a$$ by a schmoe.

Technically speaking he did win it twice,he won the over 200lb class in 77 and 78 but got beat by zane for the overall.

Ron - Are bodybuilders supposed to know that the IFBB's sanction for an event does not apply to them unless they are competing in the show?

I would bet that this was not outlined in his posing contract agreement. *raised eyebrow*

That said, a bounced check is not that big a deal, unless the issuer subsequently refuses to pay. 30 days is more than ample time to make good on a banking mistake.

Robby spent all his time in the gym definitely not is school.

The way this guy represents himself in writing its no wonder that the promoters rolled him. They probably figured Robby does not know the difference between the letter A and the letter B. Robby ought to get with god of homos for some group English writing classes.
