Yes it does!  I had them as a kid all the time and I love the taste.  I even love making them.  They come with a very specific smell and taste that no similar muffin is going to provide.  They take me back to my childhood and I just plain like them.  Yesterday my other half said he would make me some blueberry or apple/cinnamon flavored muffins but that's not what I want; no substitution is going to make me happy

I will pay up to $10 per box if I can find some to buy (eBay?) or I will pay a finders fee to anyone who can put me in touch with a supply of this specific brand of Ragamuffins.  But it's sold out!  I can't believe I'm never going to taste it again.

Find the company and dig. Talk to them. Find out the manufacturer. Find out all details: process, ingredients, how it's made. Duplicate it. This is what I would do. If you really want it, you'll find a way to get what you want.

I did contact the company.  Once I found out that it was sold out everywhere I contacted the company to find out why it was sold out and they confirmed that the product is discontinued; it has been for at least four years.  The last time I ordered it from Amazon, I was probably getting the last batch that they made.  Had I known that at the time, i would have ordered 100+ boxes or maybe the entire supply!  On the web I found a copy of the ingredients form the box, but I know that trying to patch together my own concoction is not going to be the same.  One thing, I may try doing is writing to one or more company executives to persuade them to reissue the ragamuffins! Though I would not be hopeful about the outcome of doing that.  Usually, millions of people have to participate for letter writing campaigns to be effective.
