met Claude Groulx a few years ago and he was very nice but REALLY quiet, uncomfortably quiet, there about ten people gathered around and we were all looking around going "whats wrong with this guy?", but i heard from the guy who brought him to town that he was very cool about not being treated special, he paid for his own food and transportation and only accepted the appearance money.

In general, I wouldn't ask them training questions, maybe a few drug questions. To be honest, all that stuff's been done before. I'd ask them just to tell old personal stories from that era. When you find a lifter that just doesn't give a fuck anymore about putting on airs, and is willing to open up. It's quite interesting.

Hell, I've met them all. And all of them, I felt, were really easy to talk to. ESPECIALLY Branch Warren. Me and him talked for what seemed like hours. And not just about bb'ing. All kinds of shit. Real nice guy.

BIGGEST asshole award goes to Jeff Willet. I'll never forget that guy. Too good to talk to anyone the last couple of times I've seen him. Grrrrrrrrrr.
