modern music recommendations?
« on: January 29, 2012, 09:16:01 PM »
i would like something classy and/or elegant, can be just instrumentals or whatnot but the music should be good, 2010-ish and later

i am tired of listening of today's modern music garbage of what i hear on the radio, bruno mars, flo rida, and rihanna garbage

but i havent been paying attention to the music scene much except for the torture on the radio so i don't really know whats good right now

recommendations?

i like pretty much every genre except for country

here's some boobs

there is more than enough good music to last a lifetime from the past 50 years for me to bother listening to modern music.

Your welcome. The Funky Lowlives are one of the many artists, I've discovered on the somafm.com station. They have several streams, but I like Beatblender the most, enjoy 8)

And we should honor them, but let's be honest, if we still had the same styles/genres (pop, rock&roll, jazz, soul, etc..) as in the 6-8ties, most of us would be bored as hell. Times have changed, so did people and so did music. There's still a wealth of music, but the difference is, is that you won't hear most of those pearls on the radio.
