Nevada???
« on: January 31, 2012, 09:50:01 PM »
Anyone knows what the hell is going on in Nevada? RCP shows the last poll there in December, showing Mitt #1, Newt #2, Ron Paul #3, Rick Santorum #4, but with Newt ditching that state and Ron Paul ditching Florida to campaign heavily there, I'd love to see some newer polls.

Is he campaigning heavily out there?

I can't imagine why...I would think Nevada would only have 10 or so votes at most.

It's a caucus state where he holds an advantage AND he eeked out a second-place finish there in '08, so I think he is recognizing an opportunity and trying to capitalize on it.

Hes doing totally shit there right now. Complete shit. He's in last place with only 6%. I've been following Paul for the last 5 years and I'm ready to say fuck it. Im not giving up  on the message by any means but I am on this campaign. He didnt do anything wrong to make me feel this way, I just realized, again, that the average person out there is fucking oblivious.

I feel the same way.  I guess we will have to wait for Rand to make the jump.  I would have thought Paul would have been at least #2.

Yeah, just saw that poll  :-\

He did place better in '08 in Nevada though - 10% I think. The poll had a small sample and a large margin of error - and then it's worth considering that Nevada is a caucus state (plus for RP) and that perhaps he'd be able to get more youth to go to the caucus than participated in the poll (another plus for RP).

But none of us really thought he'd get the nomination this year. There is hope though. We're building an organization; working toward better things in the future. Gotta stay with it buddy.

I thought he might actually win NH. There was a real buzz, it felt different from 08 but then the media started their usual bullshit. You can't do well with 1% media coverage in a state.

Two videos for you:

Condensed Version: If you're not happy with how well Ron Paul is doing, then do something about it.

Dude, If I ever feel suicidal or know Ill die next month of some disease, I`d do what really needs to be done but until that day comes theres no way to beat the machine. Its all just wishfull thinking. We are fighting a battle for the corrupted minds of most Americans, one of the most difficult things to undo. Look at the Tea Party. Most don't even acknowledge where it started and they scorn the person who inspired it. It was taken over and now Newt Gingrich is its new poster boy but how can that possibly be? The golden rule gets booed. So called Christians want more war. No one gives any real, meaningful credit to the guy that called the housing bubble and is warning us of economic collapse or the only one that talks of any real cuts as much as they beat him over the head with newsletters.  See what being nice gets you? Fucking nothing.

How did McCain do in Nevada?  Because that is pretty much how Mitt will do as they are basically cut from the same clothes.

In '08 Mitt won Nevada by a landslide and Ron Paul came a distant second.
