i dont know, i was hitting the barbell squats today and when i was sitting down huffing and puffing and it kind of dawned on me...
if i am geared up my whole body will grow no matter what, whereas when i was a natural i had to hit the squats hard in order for my body to grow
i look around me and everyone else is doing bench and curls, maybe the jokes on me? am i the only idiot following idiot online dogma

BB's develop big legs to impress the gays.  The rest of us straight guys just want more normal legs, you know, the type you can walk and run with.

I squat heavy for 2 reasons:

1. Because I don't like the gays who can curl the 50 pound dumbells but can't squat 60kg

2. Because I like having strong legs.

hahaha yes, nothing like the good old feeling of finishing heavy deads and then saying to the twink waiting for the bar "yep all done buddy, over to you" as you watch him spend 10 mins unloading the plates

i always put the plates back but i enjoy feeling like a god compared to these shit balls doing front squat with 70kg with their back bent like a question mark

Guys who don't train legs can get ripped upper bodies that disappear once the shirt goes on.

I have big legs, probably best bodypart along with my back, i can be super lean and still look big with a shirt on. Training legs makes you bigger overall.

My legs are naturally muscular compared to the rest of me, I don't even train them much anymore.
My upper body is weak so I concentrate on that.  The only leg work I have gotten lately comes from
trap deads. My legs are big enough so that I don't look top heavy, but not so big that they
interfere with normal activities. I used to really beat myself up with squats, deads, and leg press,
but now I have more energy to train my upper body and I am able to increase frequency of training
without squats. I sometimes do some hamstring work to help with postural issues, but not
so much lately.
I think that for a gymrat, you don't need much in the leg department, just enough so that you don't look
stupid naked.

i love bullshit like this,,, if i had a pound for everytime somone told me they had 'naturaly big strong legs' and that they dont need to train them id be one rich getbigger

this to me translates into,, no top half whatso ever, slightly chubby thighs...  probly love handles too !

I train legs for 'me'. To me that's what separates the men from the boys(no homo). You honestly can't tell me, that feeling of satisfaction after destroying your legs is not better than any other bodypart? Wallowing around on the ground after, unable to stand, pretending you're resting because if you try to walk you will look like a fukn retard ;D The endorphin release alone is worth it. And no I'm no monster. Lifting is just an outlet to clear the mind and get shitty thoughts out of there. It's my thing. The only person who ever even sees my legs is my girlfriend. There's no one else to see, unless cut off shorty short jeans make a come back :-X Oh and that's why I picked the name T-rex. Upper body is complete shit. Legs are pretty decent.

Workout: (all sets/reps I just go by what I'm feeling that day, Tren is regodamdiculous when legs are concerned. Worst side effect other than mood, thanks valium, is horrific back pumps! Almost crippling, and that's just from loading the weights!)

Leg extensions: very high reps down to 8-10
Back squats: work up to max weight then triple drop
Walking barbell lunges: as far as I can go 3x
Front squats:(if anything left in the tank) as many burnouts as possible. Weight means nothing at this point.

Then hamstrings and calves. Must take dumpona now,,,,,,will finish sushi after,,,,then will rite rest of worquout when time allotted.



And will one of you homos welcome me to the Thunderdome. I've been reading here since before the legend JNN started posting. (fuking epic lurking dude) I respect all of you except the trolling gimmick fucks. And on that note you can all go fuck yourselves, and my mom :D

Unload your plates...too many jerks leave their plates on the bars at my gym.

I now tell them every single time. I ask them if they're done, they say yes, I then tell him that he can remove the plates.
