Don't agree at all, I can't even count all the fucking 18 years old pieces of shit I have encountered who believe they deserve a great job, great salary and all that bs while they have never done shit in their life

This is actually pretty old, just updated with the '2012' bit
Rule #10 is referencing 'Friends' I think.

I know a guy that is a few years younger than me, he's selling drugs at the moment because
he didn't like the $45k per year job he was offered right out of college.
I would have begged for that when I graduated in '06.

lol except for the fact that we are in the slowest economy recovery from a recession/depression since the actual great depression. This world is a thousand times more competitive than when the babyboomers enter the work force.  Advanced graduate degrees are much more common place than compared to 30 years ago when not everyone had a college degree.

thats just your judgment on how they may or may not feel about their situation

why should they different?

some schmuck making a jpeg is the moral compass and has the answers that apply to all people? even so, why, what for? what goal? is it the goal?

if people need to learn a lesson to survive and prosper they will... if they want to hold onto bitterness and apathy then what follows shall follow

on the other side of the spectrum you have people whining about people who have a strong sense of self-entitlement.. make a jpeg for them please

babyboomers were hipies, so they weren't any better.

but lets compare kids from our generation to people from 200-300 years ago

don't tell me it's an improvement, the technology is better ok fine, but the mentality sucks ass

I'm sure back then you wouldn't find a 18 years old complain about shit

This shit is lame, especially considering it's being "endorsed" by an immoral scumbag like bill gates. He stole, and manipulated the system.

If you think we live in a meritocracy where working hard will get you success your a delusional idiot. The reality is, immoral behavior, connections, wealth, and luck is what you need.

I work on a college campus.....when a class lets out and 50 students pour out the exit none of them converse with each other.
All you see is 50 hand held devices whipped out and 50 students trying not to walk into each other or trees because they're all expecting urgent messages   ::)

this is true^.

I don't completely agree with the original post (I get the point, and think responsibility a good thing that one should learn to develop, I just disagree a little with the way it's phrased).

But I have yet to be impressed with any student I've come across while in college. Most are intellectually lazy, inarticulate, and proud.

I'm gonna hang that shit over my baby's crib. Every time he/she cries, I'll mockingly cry back and scream out "Settle down Gloria, ain't that serious!"
