So Smellthepanties trains hard? That is one of the most surprising things out there considering he's a pro BB. What a disgrace this sport is. Good to know that he invests some time in the gym in between two "lurking in the dark" sessions. He can win the AC no doubt, he's marketable. The 'O, only if they secure him a top 6 or even 4 spot and all expenses are covered. Otherwise, why would he even bother?

all the best physiques were built on high intensity in the gym. just saying...

That's irrelevant. The real issue here is why anyone gives a shit about how a pro trains? I keep seeing this over and over, where people are "disgusted", "disappointed", "he's got no work ethic," "if he only did this and that he could be mr O" etc etc and it's weird/creepy that a grown man actually can be concerned about these things. You seem to have this idea that pros should only train to satisfy the criteria set by their schmoesfans.

"Take note Dennis Wolf"  ;D

I just can't get over that line.. it's both pathetic and hilarious!!!

probably because they feel like these pros are wasting their potential and once they got their pro card they just stopped really caring and just doing it for the money at that point. which isn't entirely out of the realm of reality considering how these pieces of shit talk about their steroid usage or non-usage.

hard to respect someone when they weigh 280 pounds and you see them curling 40 pounds for 1/4th rep "only for a pump" because they stopped trying and just resorted to abusing synthol.

they said that ronnie the coleman and dorian yates only trained heavy for the videos but in reality train like they are half asleep going thru the motions

i read online a guy trains in victor martino's gym and said he just does a few exercises with zero intensity, poses a little, and goes away and only trains like once every two weeks

Dont believe that one.....
you cant suddenly build up the intensity to deadlift 800lbs or bb row 600lb for video
... has to be common place before

Many, many people have commented on Ronnie doing deadlifts with 805 multiple times. It's not something he just did "for the camera". You don't fake intensity like that.

lol hard training...

HOW THE FUCK IS THAT HARD TRAINING?  DOING A SET OR  TWO OF DEADLIFTS WITH STRICT FORM IS SOMEHOW HARD?

haahahahahhahahhah and this is supposedly the key factor in a great physique?  a video of a guy doing  two taxing sets of deadlifts?

TRULY MINDBENDING WILLPOWER ON DISPLAY HERE!  HOW CAN HE ENDURE SUCH PUNISHMENT?

meso, you are a clown.  every thread you make is about "hard work" and "real training"... who gives a shit how you pick something up and put it down?  you, and people like you, get off on "training" because you have absolutely nothing else going for you in life, and have to pretend as if you're somehow great by endlessly yapping about this supposed distinction between "hard" and "lazy" trainers.

i see ten guys working out just as "hard" every time i step into the gym.  most of them are kids who think that monster physiques are built from pure willpower and nothing more, thanks to loser bodybuilders who hide their pathetic lives behind the mask of the self-sacrificing ascetic.  these sick souls deceive entire generations, entire cultures, into thinking bodybuilding is all about willpower, because no one would afford them any respect if they knew the truth...

how fucking sad do you have to be to consider a video of a guy doing two work sets of deadlifts with perfect form to be threadworthy and a display of exemplary work ethic?

ffs...

btw evan seems like one of the cooler pros for sure, smart trainer.  highly doubt he ever talks up his training outside the gym, and almost definitely would roll his eyes at morons like meso.

It's because training is sacred to them, since they have no other merit in life.  And since training itself is a trivial activity, like cooking or gardening or picking rocks out of a dirt field, they have to lie to make it seem important, and get pissed off when high level bodybuilders show that you don't need these "heavy weights" or amazing "work ethics" and otherwise punch holes through the bullshit fantasies that these lowlife "trainers" build their image upon.

To be honest with you, I don't understand sport fans either. It's one thing to watch a game and enjoy the excitement that comes with it(I do that about once a year), but to criticize how professional athletes do their thing while you're sitting on your fucking couch is beyond me. It's the zenith of hypocrisy and douchebaggery.

Again I ask you or anyone else for that matter; how specifically does the training protocol of a drugged bodybuilder and how it's carried out affect you in any way, shape or form?
