Are you going E-Kul?  You are in Melbourne.   :)
I am hoping to go, I have marked it in my OUTLOOK Calendar - I have been a little depressed lately and having trouble getting out as much as I would like.  I have so many little projects on the go I have neglected my health quite a bit lately, maybe the show will be just the trigger I need to spark a resurgence and some better lifestyle habits.!  Are you coming down for the show booty, the summer has been a nice mild one, very pleasant weather at the moment.

UFC Superstar, Michael Bisping will be at the Musclepharm stand at FitX, both Saturday and Sunday. He will meet and greet the fans, sign photos and be available for a pic.

Michael 'The Count' Bisping is Britain's most recognisable and decorated mixed martial artist and one of the world's premier middleweight contenders. The 31-year-old Lancastrian is the Ultimate Fighting Championship organisation's longest-standing British competitor, having first rose to prominence as winner of season three of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF).

In July 2006, Bisping became the first British fighter to compete in and eventually win the hit reality television show, a triumph which landed 'The Count' a multi-fight deal with the UFC, the billion-dollar fighting organisation which is view in 147 countries worldwide, in 17 different languages and in half a billion homes.

Def. coming now - I love UFC - I have deep admiration for Bisping - he fought very well in his last fight with Sonnen and is beginning to sound like a great event!

Awwwww that's not good E-Kul.   :(  I think the show will be good for motivating you with your training and taking care of your diet etc. I went to the aussie pro back in 2010 and had an aboslute blast.  It was a great show and made even more enjoyable because I got to hang out with some friends over the weekened.  Plus I love Melbourne as well, so that helps.   :)  The summer here has been a nasty humid hot one and I have had my air con on so much that at times I feel so dehydrated.  I am counting the days down until autumn.  I thought I would add that it's been 43 degrees celicus in the shade.  So imagine with the intensity of the sun.  This should give you an idea of how hot and nasty it has been here.  I just hate it.

I asked you last time at the front of your gym if he was still around and you said he was off to the airport.

Friggin woke up late and missed everything  >:(

We are still in discussion.

He is really keen to come and defend his title. Just waiting on some visa issue at his end. Top bloke as well, one of the easiest pros to deal with in the history of pro bodybuilding.

Hi Mr. Doherty.

Any idea when the competitor's list will be announced? I thought that according to the new IFBB rules, all contracts have to be signed 30 days before the competition from now on. (http://www.ifbbpro.com/news/ifbb-pro-advisory-notice-092311/)

Cheers,
Chris

The final list will be posted the week before the contest, probably on the Monday. Until then it will evolve.
Are you coming to the show "mate"?

Evolution of Bodybuildiing - Australian Premiere at IFBB Pro Grand Prix

Shawn Ray's new feature film, The Evolution of Bodybuildiing, will premiere at the Australian Pro Grand Prix.

It will be shown immediately after the pro prejudging in the Plenary. Best of all, it will be free to all pre-judging ticket holders. (includes VIPs & All day passes)

I was lucky enough to be at the world premiere in LA a couple of weeks back and really enjoyed. There are some great interviews with some real legends.

DVD and Blue Ray copies will be available at FitX all weekend.

Time will tell, it is probably that other one that usually starts out nice then turns psyco after a few posts. He has had several screen names, all in time out where They talk to each other. Watch this space.

We will do a show special, probably around $30 DVD and $35 Blueray.

I have answered all of your questions, you still have not answered my only one.

Are you coming down for the show?

Each year, you reproduce the classification of the Arnold Classic in order to no hurt the top contender and sponsor, otherwise they would not return.

so what the purpose of this competition ?

don't let an abomination win the show but judge with a real sense of what the bodybuilding should be.

That is a whole lot of horse shit.

Go back through the years and you will see that the favorite has not always won. In fact our judging has always been respected for being straight up on the day.

I never understand the hate directed at small shows like these, Australia is an isolated country from the rest of the world, and for this remote country, we appreciate guys like Tony busting his balls every year to organise his event, I have been on three occasions and always had a great day, it would be easy to let the haters get Promoters down, but thank God Tony is above all the online BS that gets thrown around and remains positive and always puts on a fantastic show - I would highly recommend anyone in Victoria or OZ for that matter to go along, you will be suprised and it's not just for muscleheads and getbiggers.  Personally, I agree with Tony, the judging has always been top notch!
