I agree. Every politician, from left to right, is a narcissist. Otherwise they wouldn't make it to the national level.

I don't remember Den Uyl very well, but I remember him as a pretty humble person. Keep in mind that the times have changed, these days its much more about appearance and reputation, thanks to the Internet and the media in general. I don't think this is a good thing. I prefer a strong, honest and humble leader, dedicated to the people (yes idealistic person)

If you don't vote, you shouldn't complain about society and politicians, so yes, every time.

I don't vote for ideological coherence. I can't vote and participate in a system i don't agree with.

It's the same as within a relationship, there are always things to disagree with. In my opinion it's always better to vote on something you partly agree with (anything is better than nothing).

I know, but it's more symbolic and principal.

I hate to think in terms of left or right-oriented, but I vote on a small and holistic party, because they do give a fuck about the future.
You say you don't vote, but what would describe your political preference?

While still inaccurate the closest would be libertarian.

Sounds good!
I remember a libertarian party here in the Netherlands, but they didn't got enough votes. I think this had more to do with their lack of promotion, than with their ideals.
In the meantime I would suggest to vote on a liberal party, but of course, that's your freedom of choice ;)

For parliament, I always vote "seriously"....for Europe and local I sometimes vote funny. For instance for our "Party for the Animals", I think the only animal-rights party in the world that's actually in a parliament. When I was a teen I was very lefties, and the cliche is correct: when you get older you slowly move to the right... ;D

You sound like my mom. She used to do that. I remember she voted a party that had a vote thrown down the toilet as a logo.  ;D
Not anymore i've brought her to the dark side.  8)
