Just about every successful person started from the ground and moved up.  Todays college grads think they are going to have a corner office and a secretary because a company is so impressed with their college degree. Todays college degree is just like an advanced high school diploma.

If you are not going to college to learn a trade like a chemical engineer, attorney, Pharmacist, teacher, or something like that you are wasting money going to an expensive college.  You might as well take that 100K that you would use to pay for that 4 year degree and open a sandwich  shop. At least you will have a job.

Degrees are overrated.  Education is a fucking scam to collect money.  I can understand Doctors, scientists, teachers etc...  But a business degree from Some community college is bullshit.  You either have common sense or you don't.

The ones I know are dealing drugs mainly.
The more respectable ones are taking jobs that they could have gotten without their degrees, just to put food on the table.
Others are taking out more student loans and getting more useful degrees, usually involving healthcare.

The one that bugs me the most is a 25 year old that is a drug dealer. He is living the cool part of it....racking in dough, feeling
invincible (nothing has happened to him yet). He is a good kid, but I almost smacked him when he told me he turned down his first
job offer after college.....45k early plus benefits. It's this stupid pop culture crap where everyone things you have to be 'ballinnnn'
or you are a loser. I would have been ecstatic if I was offered that as starting pay after college, especially in these economic times.

Entry level jobs do exist. The trouble is most college graduates do not want those jobs because they want to start out in management making $80k.  God forbid someone with no experience and a bachelor’s degree in psychology or history should start out making $35-40k.  Here’s an example of exactly what I mean:

Lol, I have been to college.   Didn't graduate,  but it was no different then my highschool experience.  They don't give a shit since they know you are paying to go there.  It all depends on what degree you get, and it should be from a state college.
