I've been doing this lately. Completely takes out eccentric momentum. I just do it cuz it hurts more and burns like fuck and removes ego out of benching. Try it. Its crazy starting the concentric portion from a dead stop. Next day u will feel some good pain. Reps drop like fuck though. I think the milos did this, when he wasnt melting others kidneys. Its just a different angle of attack. When u have a shit chest like mine, u experiment with everything in the arsenal
