 Repdoruction is desperate means of saving the "genome" (information), that uses bodies as "vessels". If you want something close to "immortality" - support life extension initiatives (and not try to imitate what others've already tried and failed miserably.. i.e. - reproduction). But I'm just being sarcastic. Have as much kids as you want. I'll be a "selfish bastard" too, and I won't create a competition for your kids (you can thank me later) in this already overpopulated world.

I'm with you brother,  You have to get all that shit out of your system, fuck 100's of women ,travel, party.... until you are sick of it , I had a really adventurous and crazy life growing up, no girlfriend, no real job ,no school , zero  responsibilities....... my kid is the best thing that ever happened to me ,everything I do is for him, all my free time I spend it with him, I teach him boxing -MMA- soccer , we watch movies ,ride  bicycles, ride  my motorcycle,we go boating ,fishing ...he's my best friend and I love it.

Me too. I know a guy that didn't really want kids but had them to please a partner and because it was what society expected. The relationship failed and he barely sees his kids. Doesn't even like them and moans about how much he has to pay for them. Now that's selfish and shitty.

Do not want.  2 Reasons:

- Selfishness: I enjoy traveling pretty much whenever I want, have more money, and abject materialism.  Revile me for whatever reason, but most people are materialistic anyway.  *shrugs*

- Exponentialism: The world is changing way too rapidly in comparison to years past.  I am heavily pessimistic and do not like where we are headed as humanity.  I would not want my child to have to go through hunger, war, strife, natural resource shortages, etc......Unless you are in the top 0.1% or a member of the not much larger support group for them(police, engineers, scientists), I see nothing but pain and suffering and a huge loss in happiness.

Why would you care? Why do you pretend you care? You'll be dead in like...50 to 60 years (if you are lucky. and I make a guess of course). You won't feel, see or know anything (about the world that exists after your death.), just like before you were born.
 I think you want to project your "life meaning" on these around you, and being "concerned" about someones "selfishness" (creating a new person that MAY experience all the bad stuff of this life. I say - MAY.. Oh and after all - experience aging and miserable death, most probably.. is so damn selfish it's just beyond anything...
