Adele disgusts me. Although I like her music.

If she didn't have a beautiful face she could not get away with the shit she says and be "accepted". Same with Christina Henricks.

Put a Kathy Griffin face on both of them and millions of american women wouldn't want to be like them.

She ain't to far above those women...fact is, like Am Idol or not, they go thru a process in which the cream rises to the top. Kelly Clarkson for example, can sing, Fantasia can sing, and list goes on.
Sure Adele has ok pipes, but she is not memorable, it's like she is very bad Karoke version of Sade...
As was said earlier, she a good singer from gen nothingness. But, let's not take this to the extreme, she ain't great, and I suspect everybody wants to give "the fat girl props"...
6 Grammys, well done...
