Iran stops oil exports to six EU countries: state TV

Iran has stopped oil exports to six European states in retaliation for European Union sanctions imposed on the Islamic state's key export, its English-language Press TV reported on Wednesday.

"Iran cuts its oil exports to six European countries," Press TV reported.

Press TV said Iran has stopped exporting oil to Netherlands, Greece, France, Portugal, Spain and Italy.

Brent crude oil prices were up $1 a barrel to $118.35 shortly after the announcement.

you dont think any swing voters will attribute a rise in gas prices to iran cutting off oil to a bunch of countries?  especially when dems/media say it over and over all summer?

iran exports 10% of world oil and 15% of world gas... not even including the drama that comes from whatever issues they may cause with their other war shadiness, messing with Straits, etc.

do i think it's bullshit?  of course - obama's fault prices go up, it was coming anyway.  BUT the perception is what wins elections.  Obama can now say "we WERE in a recovery, even clint eastwood and bill oreilly said so.   THEN Iran did this..."   It'll work on many voters.
