I haven't read but a bit of this thread but this will
put the OP's question into perspective.
Zane legitimately beat Robbie Robinson and Mike Mentzer
without hardly any debate; so there is something there
with Zane that's not captured on film (much like Yates.)

Watch Pumping Iron and think could Zyzz beat Robbie?

Ok, maybe I'm an idiot, maybe since GetBig is the on BB board I participate on or pay attention to I don't know, or maybe both, but what the fuck is with all the attention this Zyzz guy gets? Actually I have a few questions:

1) What is Zyzz's real name?

2) Why does he garner so much attention? Has he been on the cover of several mags? Did he win some major BB comps? Is he on reality TV or something? What am I missing about this guy that other people (who don't personally know him) take time out of their life to be concerned with him?

3) Comparing him to Zane??? Really?? No. This Zyzz guy looks good like a modern fitness model maybe, but Zane?? No.

4) I read in the beginning pages of this thread that Zyzz killed himself via diuretics and getting into a sauna?? Is this true? Was he doing it in preparation for something that he felt he needed to go to this extreme for? This screams stupidity if you ask me and gives further explanation as to why few people should have respect for this guy.

Frank is 70 years old now. Frank Zane has one of the best physiques of all time. It cracks me up how so many of you think it's easy to have a physique like him.
