well you obviously have to battle and quit at times or you wouldn't look the way you do lots of  people proably don't put up much of a fight for the most part as long as your fighting win lose are draw your doing good. I used to beat myself up a lot over shit but now look at it as long as i avoid hurting myself/others  or going to jail in the end shit just don't matter much I know I'm a good person if I didnt have this problem it would be something fucking else lol I'm half indian so a little craziness is to be expected lol

All kidding aside,I credit training as the thing that kept me alive.

Everytime I quit and drank for months or years,the gym was always the first place that I went to when trying to get straight.

One time I was gonna` take 4 days off from training to rest my body.........didn`t see the inside of a gym for 7 years,only the inside of a bottle.

Surely nothing to be proud of,and I`m not,but I`m not ashamed either as it was just a part of my life that I went through and survived which in turn has made me much more thankful to be here.

But enough of me,let`s rag on some of the other old fucks on here!  ;D

Everytime i hit bottom and thought it could be no worse,the next bottom was a bigger nightmare.

I always had the presence of mind to know I had to quit........after a zillion tries,and living in a literal hell,I just did it one day and it stuck.

On that movie bigger,stronger faster the part where the crazy guy is still living in his van at golds venice after 25yrs or what ever he made the comment " as long as the suns shinning I still have a chance the dreams not dead" granted he sounds like a nut but how crazy is it to do what you want or follow your dream that guy seems happy ? how many non crazy are un happy  ;) you can log onto face book or anything cry compain after depressing shit ?  I'm by know means suggesting to live in  van try to pro bodybuild you have to find a place that makes you happy with life whether its the stock market,kniiting quilts chasing women or what ever the fuck.

reminds me of a short story.

My cousin intoduced me to a kid in the gym (21 years old)...........we hooked up to train together.

I told the kid a lot of old gym war stories,and the kid asked me what have I done lately.

After that remark,my daily mission was to train him into the ground,which I did.

After training everyday I would always go:

How`s it feel to be trained into the ground kid?

He would always answer with a pained look:

Fuck you old man!!  ;D
