And before you rush off and start foaming at the mouth and thinking you are about to score a point and "show me up" about my answer to entrapment being legal in FL, I do know that entrapment is NOT legal, however it is RARELY enforced by judges and courts in the defendants favor.   Which basically gives officers free reign to do whatever is necessary to make an arrest.  It is very rare that entrapment cases are dropped or won by the defendant.   If entrapment laws was enforced, then you would hardly ever have any prostitution arrests (active and solicitation ) or street level drug sales.  

Entrapment is NOT a tactic I support, encourage or defend.   But regardless of the outcome of their tactics if the person is not breaking any laws then they have nothing to worry about.
