ugh....i will bite, but i watched Star Trek: TNG when i was a kid and it is still pretty good today. I never watched any of the movies or never even seen the original Star Trek series. I just know Picard, Data and those two smoking hot chic's..Dr. Crusher and the one who could read minds.

Deanna Troi. But I always found her a bit borderline hysterical. Nice to hit, but not for too long....

I was a fan like crazy in the 90s, even bought a stupid medical tricorder or something at a convention... That's where it all began? the medical career? With technology advancing as rapidly as it does in de medical field, a 'tricorder' doesn't seem to be that far off.

Someone told me that black people like star trek....that can't be true Nah, that Uhuru or what was her name was the first black woman on a tv series with a serious position. And the captain in Deep Space Nine was black too. Plus Whoopy......

No, the original series didn't have a tricorder...

Original series still rules to this day. I remember watching it as a kid in the '80's with my dad, and i'll still happily watch it today.
TNG i watched first time round but i find it hard to watch re-runs.
Voyager- shite. Woman captain's not a bad idea, just not that one.
Deep Space 9 - watchable, possibly just because of Jadzia Dax.
I quite enjoyed enterprise before they cancelled it.
I've got the animated series sitting on my hard drive too. Haven't watched it for a while.
Live long and prosper getbiggers.

I've been a Star Trek fan for well over 30 years. My favorite shows are "The Next Generation" & "Voyager". Both shows had an amazing cast and provided for great story lines. If I were straight, this is the kind of woman I would ever want (see below). Being the man that I am, I would pick these two hunks in a heartbeat.. With this cutie taking a close third.. " 1"

Star Trek Voyager... God I always wanted her to assimilate me. Becoming part of the collective forever would be worth just one whif of her Federation issued onesie. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^trekkie dork^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I got mixed feels on it, tng and ds9 are the only descent ones. I liked both, but there was alot of filler and the star trek universe makes no sense. Theres billion upon billions of people in the federation yet only a few thousand ships worth a dam.

Someone told me that black people like star trek....that can't be true First interracial kiss on TV was Kirk and Uhura. Groundbreaking and unheard of at the time. On another TV side note. The first show to have mom and dad actually sleep in the same bed and show it on TV? The Munsters. Go figure.
