Coach - Are you training Rampage down in Mission Viejo?

I know he is staying in southern California for his upcoming fight in Japan against Bader, are you his S&C trainer?

Coach doesn't know martial arts. Anyone serious wouldn't go near him.

He's going to crush Bader. Bader has nothing to offer Rampage. I think Rampage was way better in Pride. He use to mix things up so much more. He became a one dimensional flat footed boxer but it seems to work for him a lot he has a ton of raw power and good takedown defense. Guy just has a lot of power. I almost cried when he crushed Wand with that left hook.

That's part of my point.  Rampage is only taking this fight for the paycheck.  Bader is a middle of the pack fighter.  Why the fuck is Rampage content with fighting guys like Matt Hamil (which Rampage looked like shit in)  He is fighting hand-picked bums at this point.

For the check you're right. He won't ever beat Jones. I would like to see him and shogun go at it again. I think Shogun has his number though.

He takes all of his fights seriously and trains hard. But hes still pretty old school when it comes to strength training. We always tell him hes got that "retarded strength".,lol

The guy does have retard strenght. He's getting up there in age and has all the money in the world. That tends to soften guys up. He's not the same young hungry dude that was slamming people on their heads in pride. Happens to the best of them though. He's been around for a long time! If he mixed things up a bit he could still be pretty relevant. His attitude lately has really been a turn off though. I don't like the bully persona he's taken on. Calling that guy titties a million times on TUF, going after little Ariel Helwani. Recently he went after Rogan. He's a big bully that's why I never feel bad when he gets beat.

Too bad he doesn't use it anymore.  What happened to the trademark slams?   I used to like Rampage' it's not his fault that he is one of Dana's cash cows.  Rampage is the Urijah Faber of the light heavyweight division. He could be coming off of a loss, and all he has to do is win one fight, and he is back in the title picture.  They need tournament/grand prix style in the UFC.  You win, you go on, you lose, your out for that year.  Separate the men from the boys.

Do you know anyhting about his movie career coach?  I think they are doing another A-Team, but what after that?  I dont think he has enough money to call it quits now.

Yup.

He has been out of the fight game for quite some time.  In an interview he recently gave, he mentioned the fact that he is working on movies, rapping, video games and a bunch of other things at the moment.

He recognizes that he has a family to care for and getting your head bashed in at every other opportunity isn't going to increases your chances at longevity.

His words during his last interview, "I don't care if I win or lose..."
