oh, yeah, well if your training first thing in the AM i could see why youd still get a good workout without carbs and fats before hand. body is still loaded up with calories from the night before.

Yup,exactly why I do it............always enjoyed early workouts,but as I got older,it took more to get me feeling fully awake before I could want to hit the gym......once I`m there,I`m good to go.

i swear i'm asleep for the first 20 minutes of elliptical at 430am daily... first time I look at the clock is almost always at the half hour mark...

never been a fan of lifting in the morning though... no real reason why... just prefer evening

Wow,I`m not doing much at 4:30.........little later for me.....gotta` drink my coffee and come to life.

Training early is a bitch at first,but once you get used to the routine,it`s not too bad.........leg days are rough though.

Here's what I would do. With the caffeine and ephedrine, add 25-50mg of geranium, 5-10mg of yohimbe, about 45 minutes before your workout 3 grams of l-tyrosine. L-tyrosine is an amino acid that increases dopamine levels in the brain and makes the other stims stronger. 2.5mg of vinpocetine with your pre workout meal can work nicely as well.

I've added the above with a serving of no shotgun and 50mcg of clen. (only when I was near the end of a cutting cycle)

I hope I'm on the right board here, my pre-workouts are protein & glutamine and one Lipo 6 black Ultra Concentrate pill.  This pill does wonders for me, I cannot speak for others though, everyone's system is different.   :) :D  I hope I did not say the wrong thing though ???

Actually, yours is a quite intelligent, humble, and rational post; which is a very refreshing change from the garbage we've seen spewing forth from the burgeoning mass of new gimmicks as of late.

Thank you! :D  what happened was, I posted on the wrong board previously only to get blasted by an apparent irate member (not a moderator).  I thougtht the board also included fat burners and protein supplements.  It was on the Steroid hardcore board.  I didn't know that they don't allow non-steriod posts on their board.  Once again, thank you very much.

ok its that time again. after 2 months without a pre workout im feening for some energy pre workout. i want something serious as my tolerance is very high for stims and the like. i think i got it narrowed down to craze by ds and maximize intense from iforce. open to all suggestions.....and go!

Give VPX's Shotgun a try, especially if you can get it cheap (i.e. $10.25 on clearance, as I did at my gym yesterday and last month).

I used to have a bad ephedrine habit: 25 mg plus 200 caffiene plus two baby asprin plus grapefruit juice...I'd be flying.  No more of that though.  Just the Jack3d.

Have you tried taking grapefruit juice with the Jack3d?
I'm curious if it intensifies any of the effects.

Every one has their own point of view regarding pre-workouts in my opinion protein + carbs + fats  for pre workout (and post workout)...
