I saw Darryl Stafford at the North America this year in the lobby........still looked damn good.
Ron Coleman as in Ronnie Coleman? Or the "natty" Rob Coleman?I see, Phil Hill, Bob Chick, Vince Taylor, Darryl Stafford, Matt Mendenhall, Troy Zuc, Joe Meeko, JJ Marsh...a whole lotta dudes...
Still has bis huge chest?
he went bald overnight!
no, he took the wig off from one day to the next.
Ray had a Perfect side chest poseGreat chest, delt and arm combo in MM tooLike GL said, he had great genes for quads and arms, but kept it in check
18 future pro's including the winners from that yr,,,i might have missed a few but close i think.and at least 10 more near misses over the yrs like mendenhall.
was Shawn inducted into the bodybuilding Hall of Fame?
Poor Shawn, he should have been Mr O. at least once. His size didn't change much, but he knew how to get in shape.Too bad he didn't up the dose like the rest of his pals. A few A-50 tabs would've put him over the top -lol Kinda lost some respect for him when he wore the ridiculous rug on his head that one year.
LOL....kept it in check. he was on copious amounts of steroids...they make every muscle grow, they are not selective. Once you are that deep into the gear, how hard you exercise, is irrelevant...The drugs dictate what your physique looks like. His arms were as big as they were because that's how big they got...same with his legs...he trained them both, and trained them hard. It's just the image he wanted to portray, the "I'm a sculptor" angle that the aesthetic guys always spit out.
true but if u see the amatuer shot above with marsh, stafford he was already shawn pro ray look,,he just over next 13yrs and due to better blends got more chiseled mature look ,,,he looked size wise complete at 87 nationals.
And some AAU Mr. America winners/finalists as well as a WBBG Mr. World winner and a NABBA Mr. Universe winner and some finalists.
glenn knerr was mr america sick build,,vic terra nabba pro sick build/shape/legs,
Yup,and Richard Roy,from my old gym won the WGGG Mr. World title.Even the lighter classes in this show has great guys who are true veterans of the game...........I competed with some of these guys in the mid 90`s and early 2000`s and they still looked great.
