I am amazed at the numbers these college athletes are putting up in the 225 bench press.  Fucking wide recievers banging out 25 reps.  Sure the reps are not smooth but still that takes a lot of strength and a lot of stamina.  Plus most of these cats are like 20-21 years old.  When I was 20 the only people I knew that could throw 225 up and down wit ease that many times where the steroid users and even those guys could maybe bang out 20 reps before burning out.

So what are these college athletes on and how do they not get caught or tested?  No fucking way anyone natural can get the numbers they do.  Check out these stats from 2007.  Even Brady Quinn who is a QA nailed 24 reps.  The guy who did 42?  Natural?  Yeah right.

42 (defensive lineman Tank Tyler of N.C. State), 40 (offensive lineman Manny Ramirez of Texas Tech, Justin Blalock of Texas), 34 (offensive lineman Cameron Stephenson of Rutgers, offensive lineman Enoka Lucas of Oregon, offensive lineman Ryan Kalil of USC, offensive lineman Brandon Frye of Virginia Tech, defensive lineman Joe Cohen of Florida, tight end Daniel Coats of BYU, offensive lineman Nathan Bennett of Clemson).

Another notable performance from the 2007 combine came from quarterback Brady Quinn, who did 24 reps.

Epic low standards. My PR is 32, but granted, I was 23 at the time. Clean, though. Only started lifting at 16 though. Actual talented kids should do much better.

Ran the 40 yard dash in 2.45 seconds - fractured my whole body doing so and am now happily retired.

it's called superior genetics + smart combine prep

The agents pay up to 20k for 8 weeks of training at combine prep facilities.

They are not cheating its just that you have shitty genes and shitty strength you are part of the 99% of the population, remember that football players are the best of the best in term of athletes, i am pretty sure that if you should follow their diet and training you still could not lift what they lift.

good, it was giving false readings.

But really, do you think this is so impossible? Really? I was 3 years older and not exactly a featherweight when I did that.

I don't think there is a single 20yr old there. Theyre all 21-25 and the majority being 22-24 years old. Most of whom have gone through years of lifting programs and nutritional advice from paid professionals. Plus, genetically these guys are the cream of the crop. None of us should be shocked.

Right, the top .001% DO have MUTANT genetics.

Besides they are getting optimal training and nutrition.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1119449/index.htm .

Steve Courson, who was a respected NFL Guard on quality teams in the 80's talks about steroid use in football during that time. Note about what he says High School and College use.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1067916/1/index.htm .

Another guy talks about his use and team policy in college during the 80's.

No reason to think things have changed, guys just change drugs and protocols to fit the situation. There are some top class athletes on these squads and a few might be natural, but to think that all of it is training and talent and leave it at that, is obscene.

As to the original question?  Lots of short acting compounds, and a lot of guys use to use the blast and cruise for a while. GH might make a appearance too at the lower levels given how cheap it's gotten.

Also think about it, strong guys usually pal around with other strong guys. Footballers usually deal with Powerlifters, Throwers, Bodybuilders, other strong gym rats, etc...... At some point they can all drink from the anabolic cup if they want too.

So your admitting agents spend up to 20000 fucken thousand dollars to put these guys through camps but you don't think they spend a fucken dime on performance enhancers that right there folks tells you the whole story! 20 gs for a couple weeks of strenght and conditioning but no they wont buy them some fucken kits of gh  ::)

Hard work, genetics, eating right, training hard and having a great work ethic. Impressed by Junior though. June doing work better than he was two years ago. I know Malk, Hemmingway and Martin are training with Mike Barwis and our current Strength Coach. I ain't seen KG do much, yet. He should have a better pro day...he better if he wants to get to the nest level.
