Wrestler Buff Bagwell Broken Neck in Bad Car Crash

Former WCW wrestling star Buff Bagwell is in intensive care at an Atlanta-area hospital after flipping his Jeep ... reportedly breaking several bones in his neck.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the accident occurred "late Monday" ... leaving the 42-year-old with broken bones in his neck and face ... and a broken jaw.

Bagwell was transported to a nearby hospital, where was admitted to the intensive care unit in serious condition ... and sedated due to the extent of his injuries.

7:31 AM PDT -- According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, Bagwell called his wife from his Jeep around 1:30 PM ... and "advised her he was getting ready to have a seizure."

Bagwell lost control of his vehicle a short time later ... spinning across the raised median, which caused the Jeep to flip over.

Bagwell was removed from the vehicle by emergency personnel and transported to a nearby hospital.

When he first hit the scene and wrestled under his name Marcus Alexander Bagwell, he actually had a pretty decent back too. Best back in the sport at that time.
