The first semester of my senior year of college, I went fullblown Mike Mentzer Heavy Duty II. I went from a ripped (sub 8%) 162 pounds to 188 (12%) in about 3 months.
The deadlifting and supersetting of leg extension/squat had me ravenous at all times.
It was not uncommon for me to wake up in the middle of the night and make a Myoplex shake with whole milk, ice cream and all natural peanut butter.
I once figured out the calories in this shake, and I found out it was pushing 1000 calories.
I also used to be lazy and eat an entire row of Oreo double stuff cookies with 2 big glasses of whole milk and then go back to bed.
