Dustin I would be curious to hear what are your thoughts on taking exogenous insulin and accelerated aging? I know insulin is an aging hormone, but in reality it's just another tool we use to decrease protein breakdown, all in all I can't see taking it would cause you to age quickly than if you didn't. If anything it might help you look younger, as when you take a shot of insulin blood glucose never gets too high. And there have been studies showing higher blood glucose levels results in looking older than you are. I like what it does, I have more energy on it, I grow faster with it, I don't get fat on it if I'm on the right steroids either GH or no gh. I just don't want to fuck myself in that department, I already look mid twenties.
I can't say anything with too much certainty, brotha! I remember we had a PM exchange about it maybe a year ago and since then I haven't really learned too much else. I think that having constantly elevated blood glucose is bad because it creates systemic inflammation and probably fucks your body up in other ways too.
I think that probably a diet with a low meal frequency with insulin would be the best. That way when you do need the nutrient uptake, you're using nothing but exogenous insulin and there's a smaller chance of spill over. It's so tough to know what's the exact appropriate amount to eat before some calories are stored as fat. But at least your natural insulin sensitivity would be good, all the other respected hormones are still playing on concert and you have as much control over your eating and hormone regimen as possible.
At the very least that offers a better opportunity to observe and titrate doses, eating patterns, etc. I'm planning on cutting some more fat until it looks like there's nothing but saran wrap covering my abdominals (it's the ONLY place I have any fat for fuck sakes) and once I hold that conditioning long enough I'll start experimenting with insulin again. I used it in the past with success but I think you either need to be on an extreme amount of GH for the best results or be extremely lean. I don't like putting on fat if it can be avoided. Complete waste of time for myself at least.
