Wolf's weak calves - genetics vs. training
« on: March 08, 2012, 01:52:34 PM »
Do you think Wolf's weak calves are a genetic predisposition that he can never overcome, or do you think that he could train them more to make them Olympia caliber?  Arnold claims to have had weak calves when he came over from Europe and did high volume training, sometime 6 days per week, to bring up his calves to be some of the best in the business.  (Know there is endless debate whether Arnold had implants, but don't think the evidence is there.)

Could Wolf do the same as Arnold and bring up his calves to make that weakness into a strength?

I think short calves tend to resist one's gym efforts. If he had longer calves like Mattarazzo or Yates or Dillett; Wolf would be a 2-time arnold classic winner; and possibly wouldve won the 2007 Mr olympia

I find it hard to believe you can get your that big but just one body part won't respond at all. They prob are his one stubborn body part and he's just given up. They were better than they are now at one point that's why I say that. Who knows calves are funny. Mine have been as high as 19" and I have prob trained them a dozen times total in my life

Hell, even a complete retard can see that Wolf has torn his left calve ::)

Yeah, I'm sure that's the reason ::)

As for Arnold, Arnold is a pathological liar who spits 5 lies in 3 sentences, I wouldn't believe this man anything.

You can't fight genetics , Wolf will never have the muscle cell allocation in his calves so they will never be much better

All muscle have potential for growth, even though little, if it at least looked like he trained them, besides the tear... I mean, at least show some effort Dennis.

His color seems better in '07 too.  The last few years, his spray tans have been blotchy.  Would be great to see the competitors go back to natural tans and eliminate the spray tan.  Know there is the skin cancer risk, but how much worse could it be than the risk of screwing up your kidneys with HGH?

NOT implants. they moved when he flexed. if you want to see implants look at Lou at the 92-93 Olympia.

Clearly an injury. Too bad because he has an excellent structure. Only other complaint is his biceps peak is not spectacular but he makes up for it through his width and insane taper.
