Not that true.  Lots of guys looked good year around.  In the good days bodybuilders never got smaller but actually got bigger and put on more mass then dieted down.

Today these guys are the oposite. They get smaller and then blow up for a show and the shitty physiqyes you see today are a result of that

Exactly, I remember GH15 complimented him for his timing skills. This might be a smart strategy for internal organ health (well, to reduce the damage, that is). On the other hand, this show how instant modern bodybuilding is, people can blow up/shrink in no time  :-\

Oh come on, he might not be a Mr O when you compare it to the past line ups but he is deffo up their in the "modern" bodybuild even if he is pumped up with insulin and GH... Who isn't nowadays anyhow?
That guy is far from small, I bet no one on this forum comes close to him...

What is the real reason he is Mr O?                                           Because he promotes the sport to this generation and appeals to them!

Face fact bodybuilding is a dirty rigged sport with lots of agendas behind it, the best physique doesnt always win, there is more to it than that.

He goes from 275 to 245 lbs but blows up? Makes sense

Levrone was one of the few who would blow up during comp and shrink when not competiting.

Actually this was done more often during the days of Arnold...

People will always complain if he comes off they say he is small if he is on year round they will say he is unhealthy, stupid, moronic, can't please everyone ::)

I've said this years. The title itself doesn't mean anything but who you beat to win it. Even a guy with 8 Mr. Olympias Lee Haney doesn't get the recognition he deserves because the competition wasn't that tough in the 80s... and Lee had personality.

This year it'll be 15 years that Dorian won his last title. He's still the man because he won the title from the best guys in history.

In my eyes Flex has accomplished so much more than Phil. He was second in three the most toughest Olympias in history(99, 98, 93).
